Emma Ekstam is an artist based in Sweden. This is how Emma herself describes her art:
My primary motive for making art is to make space in my mind, to get rid of obsessive compulsions, and to be a more balanced person because of it. And painting, since it is difficult and endlessly full of possibilities, suits this purpose very well. For me, painting is a way of seeing the unseen; it allows me to meditate on the conscious/subconscious, also it allows me to observe what my mind is occupied with.
