Nanami Takeuchi is a London based artist that draw inspiration from japanese folklore. This print is based on observational drawings of artefacts depicting mythical creatures from the V&A and the Tokyo national museum. The creatures are protectors, Komainu are guarddogs of temples and come in pairs where one has their mouth open creating an "ah"-sound and the other shut making the "un"-sound. Together they make the first sound of the universe -"ohm".

Printed by risograph on sturdy, slightly textured paper in eye-poppingly bright colors in the standard A4-format.
