Did you know that the capuchin monkeys got their name from a group of friars named the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin who wear brown robes with large hoods. The Portuguese explorers who came across the monkeys thought they looked just like those friar robes with their hoods down, and named them capuchins. Despite being so small this fella is in fact meticulously hand painted by brilliant Thai artisans. It's so impressive and cute and did I mention OMG TINY!!!

This glazed ceramic treasure measures about 3,5x6,5 cm (!!!) and you clearly need it in your life. The last picture shows crouching capuchin with its friend sitting capuchin that's also available in our home decor section, go fetch!
